This Privacy Policy describes how StatLine ("we", "us", or "the site") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit checkitdirect.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you consent to the practices described below.

StatLine does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address. The limited data we work with falls into two buckets:
- Usage information automatically collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) as part of normal web-server operation — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit, and referring page. This information is used for security, debugging, and aggregate traffic analytics only.

"favorites" (teams and players you star) and your currently selected
sport in your browser's
localStorageso your preferences persist between visits. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
2. Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Site. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

StatLine displays publicly available sports data retrieved from ESPN's public APIs. We do not control ESPN or any other third-party service, and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. Ads served by Google AdSense are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

- Clear StatLine's locally stored data by clearing your browser's site storage for

7. Data retention
Aggregate server logs are retained by our hosting provider for their standard retention window (typically 30 days) and then discarded. Locally stored favorites remain on your device until you clear them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the home page.
